This is a special 3 hour Martin Luther King vacation day course that introduces kids to many wonders of SCRATCH – MIT’s fantastic visual coding platform.  In this class, students age 10 – 15 will learn how to program and write code using the intuitive and fun SCRATCH interface.  Our coding focus at SDAW is built on a foundation of creative exploration and interactive fun.

“Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.”

This is a great class for curious and creative kids. No previous experience with SCRATCH or coding is required.

This class meets on:

  • Monday, January 15, 11:00 – 2:00 pm
